The Department of Engineering at Sharper Night 2025

On September 25 and 26, the Department of Engineering of the University of Sassari took part in Sharper Night, a science outreach event organized by the University.

The SHARPER project (SHAring Researchers’ Passion for Enhanced Roadmaps), which involves 15 Italian cities, offers a wide range of initiatives aimed at promoting scientific culture in the city and surrounding areas. These include exhibitions, interactive and recreational workshops, popular science talks, debates, science cafés/aperitifs, and other activities designed to foster active citizen engagement. In Sassari, the main event was held at the Tavolara Pavilion on Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26, 2025, attracting around 2,300 participants, including schools and the general public.

At the stand dedicated to Engineering activities, various experiments related to the group’s research themes were showcased, alongside posters illustrating the main ongoing projects.
