Joint Student-Teacher Commission

The Joint Teacher Student Committee (Commisione Paritetica) represents the intersection of the needs of students and the teaching responsibilities of the academic staff. The main task of the committee is to monitor the quality of study programs, ensuring that courses are consistent with the educational objectives and that the desired learning outcomes are achieved. The committee collects student feedback and identifies strengths and weaknesses in the current educational programmes. These insights are used to formulate improvement proposals to be submitted to the Department Council and the University’s governing bodies. Each year, the committee drafts a report which is used for assessment, both internal and external, to ensure the quality and consistency of the courses on offer. In this way, the committee ensures that the degree programmes on offer are providing the best possible experience and skills to students, through a constructive and ongoing dialogue between those who teach and those who learn.
